6th Sunday in Ordinary Time – February 15, 2026

Today’s Holy Liturgy

• First Reading: Ecclesiasticus 15:15–20 (“If you choose, you can keep the commandments.”)

• Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 118(119):1–2, 4–5, 17–18, 33–34 (“Happy are they who follow the law of the Lord!”)

• Second Reading: 1 Corinthians 2:6–10 (“The hidden wisdom of God, predestined for our glory.”)

• Gospel: Matthew 5:17–37 (“I have come not to abolish, but to complete.”)

Today’s readings present us with a profound paradox: the strictness of God’s Law and the limitlessness of His Mercy. In the Gospel, Jesus tells us that it is not enough to simply avoid “big” sins; He calls us to account for the hidden movements of our hearts—our anger, our secret thoughts, and our integrity.

The Power of Choice

The first reading from Ecclesiasticus reminds us that “to behave faithfully is within your power.” God sets “fire and water” before us, giving us the freedom to choose. However, we often find ourselves caught in the snares of our own fallen thoughts, where the right choice feels like an impossible climb because our human will is not yet fully aligned with His.

The Way, The Life, and The Truth

A recent message received in Ireland (August 2025) echoes this Sunday’s Gospel with striking clarity. Jesus reminds us: “I am the Truth. The thoughts of every heart will be laid bare.” This aligns perfectly with Christ’s teaching today, that murder begins with anger and adultery begins in the heart.

Jesus calls us to live in Truth now, so that it becomes our “Shield of Protection.” He invites us to a “pre-judgment” of sorts, an illumination where we ask Him to reveal the reality of our souls today. This is not meant to terrify us, but to liberate us. As the message says: “This will be much less severe an encounter if you begin to live now in The Truth.”

Moving Beyond the Letter with St. Faustina

In the Diary of St. Faustina, Jesus emphasizes that the Law is fulfilled not through rigid, fearful legalism, but through Love and Honesty. St. Faustina writes:

“Love is a mystery that transforms everything it touches into things beautiful and pleasing to God.” (Diary, 890)

When Jesus says He came to “complete” the Law, He is moving the focus from the external action to the internal intention. He wants our hearts to be “simple.” To be “great in the kingdom of heaven” is to be a soul that stands naked in the Truth of God’s Mercy, hiding nothing from the Physician of Souls.

The Sacrament of Healing

The Gospel warns of “hell fire” for those who harbor malice, but the “Good News” mentioned in the Irish message provides the remedy: The Sacrament of Confession. When we give Jesus permission through the Priest, He dispels the darkness of our hidden sins and replaces them with light.

As the message concludes: “It will cause you suffering, but this suffering will heal your soul and make you completely new and then you will be able to live in My Will.”

Conclusion: A Simple Desire

The Psalm today cries out, “Open my eyes that I may see the wonders of your law.” The greatest wonder is that God’s law is actually a pathway to happiness. If you find it hard to be “blameless” or to face the truth of your soul, do as Jesus suggests: “Desire to desire this.” Ask the Lord today for the courage to step out of the shadows and into His Light.

Private Revelation: The Message of Truth

“My Child,

Live in truth. Let The Truth be your guiding light and in the forefront of your mind. With Truth you can overcome every obstacle and evil that comes against you. Truth is an impenetrable shield, it protects you from evil and from evil people. It is your SHIELD OF PROTECTION.

All will come to know this truth in the end, as they stand before me for their judgement. In this final judgement, Truth will be revealed to each heart. Learn now to treasure Truth above every other thing.

Have I not said that I am the Way, The Truth and The Life! I am the Way that is revealed in Salvation History and the Revelation of My Word which is left to you to help you on The Way. I AM The Way.

But my Child, so few stop to ponder that I am the Truth. The thoughts of every heart will be laid bare when I stand before each of you individually. The Truth will be revealed to you fully from the moment of your conception and the receiving of your Soul, to the moment of your judgement.

My Child, my children are not prepared for this. Tell them that I judge all with The Truth and I search and probe the secret hidden life of each person. Tell them to prepare now for My Illumination. This will be much less severe an encounter if you begin to live now in The Truth. Tell my children to ask me to reveal to them The Truth of their life and their Souls.

Don’t ever be afraid of this because I, your Good Jesus, will be with you through it all. Have courage and Trust in Me and I will shine My Truth into your souls and you will see clearly. Then, when you give me permission in the Sacrament of Confession, with my Priest whom I work through, I will dispel the darkness and only truth, goodness, and light will remain in you.

This is part of My Good News. So don’t be afraid. It will cause you suffering, but this suffering will heal your soul and make you completely new and then you will be able to live in My Will and you will be happy.

Desire this my Child. If you find it hard to desire this, then desire to desire this. I will give you great desires if you ask me. I am very simple you know. You just be simple with me too and be yourself. I desire Truth in The Heart!
