Father Chris Alar, MIC is the Provincial Superior of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy Province of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception in the United States and Argentina. Among his bestselling books are After Suicide: There’s Hope for Them and for You, as well as Understanding Divine Mercy. He wrote and produced the popular DVD series “Divine Mercy 101” and “Explaining the Faith.” In addition, he is the host of the EWTN show Living Divine Mercy, which airs Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. In Stockbridge, Massachusetts, he serves as “Fr. Joseph, MIC,” the Director of the Association of Marian Helpers, and as the head of Marian Press.
